Universal Soldier II: Brothers in Arms is a 1998 direct-to-video science fiction film and a sequel to the 1992 film Universal Soldier, although it's considered non-canon (the "official" sequel to the original Universal Soldier is 1999's Universal Soldier: Regeneration, which completely ignores the plot-line of this film). Deze rolprent is eigenlijk helemaal geen vervolg op UNIVERSAL SOLDIER (dat is UNIVERSAL SOLDIER 2: THE RETURN) en heeft ook geen Jean- Claude Van Damme en Dolph Lundgren. Terwijl de oorspronkelijke film nauwelijks een goed verhaal of behoorlijk spel bevat, heeft hij toch nog wat, waardoor de nodige fans kwamen kijken, maar deze rolprent is zelfs voor die liefhebbers een diepe teleurstelling: het één grote leegte. Het scenario is van Peter M. Lenkov en het camerawerk is van Russ Goozee. Iedereen die iets met dit werkje te maken heeft, of dit nu de schrijver, producent, de spelers of de kijkers zijn, zou zich diep moeten schamen.
